Once a merchant confirms the availability of a product, our team calls the customer to verify the details on the order which are; delivery location, customer phone number and delivery time. At this stage, the product moves from ‘new’ to ‘confirmed’ and a customer gets an SMS to confirm this.
Our dispatch team, therefore, sends a rider to pick the product since the merchant has confirmed availability. All our riders have been trained to ensure that they adhere to the allocated time of picking up an item. The rider will call the merchant to confirm the pickup location.
Within two hours, the rider will show up at a merchant’s shop to pick up the product. He is supposed to show an order sms after which the merchant will hand over the product. Merchants are advised to record the item handed over to the rider.
For verification purposes, the merchant will provide the rider with the secret code to input into the rider app.
